Empowering Communities: Punjab Police’s IT Services Awareness Session at CAS, Main Campus

The Punjab Police conducted a highly informative awareness session at CAS, Main Campus on Wednesday 27th Feb, 2024 (in continuation with previous sessions) aimed at enlightening the general public about the array of IT services it offers. The session commenced with a warm welcome and an insightful introduction emphasizing the crucial role of community engagement in fostering public safety. Participants were provided with a comprehensive overview of Punjab Police’s cutting-edge IT services, showcasing their commitment to transparency, efficiency, and community involvement. The session delved into e-Citizen services, elucidating the process of online FIR registration, lost and found property reporting, tenant/employee verifications, Zainab Alert, Mera Payara, 15 Services, youth internship and My App etc. A notable segment highlighted the mobile applications developed by the Punjab Police, featuring functionalities such as SOS alerts, emergency services, and real-time crime updates. Emphasis was also placed on community policing initiatives facilitated by IT services, fostering interactive platforms for citizens to connect with law enforcement. The session culminated with an engaging Q&A, where participants were encouraged to seek clarification and address any concerns.
