We are The Centre of Excellence in Advanced Studies (CAS) — providing Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Art & Design (Fashion), Information Technology, and Law qualifications for the next generation of industry leaders. We are transforming learning opportunities to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset in our students; a mindset that will serve employers well and increase opportunities for all.

Creating enterprising futures

Work is not the same as having a job – work as a single-track corporate employment will not hold true for most people, whose working experiences will be much more varied and unpredictable in a world of continuous disruptive innovations
Skills are not enough for working success – the effectiveness of individuals and work groups, in all working scenarios, depends on effective personal qualities of enterprise, networking, problem solving, and creativity coupled with up-to-date technical competence, going beyond the acquisition of skill-based qualifications and knowledge
We are an agile college for agile students – learning must be dynamic, experiential and project based, enabling students to work on and solve real-world problems provided by our employer partners
Learning is work – and vice versa – learning and work are inextricably intertwined in the DNA of CAS. All of our students will be supported into employment from the 2nd semester of year 1 for at least 1 day a week. All students will leave us either employed or setting out on the entrepreneurial journeys.
CAS’s action-based learning, solution-focused research and industry partnerships are helping to shape the next generation of inventors, entrepreneurs, and pioneers.

Career Development Centre

CAS aim is to ensure that each and every learner is employed from the 2nd semester of the Degree course for the next 3 1/2 years. Our CDC will understand learners’ potential, future plans and the sector he/she wishes to enter into the practical life so that we can deploy them within the relevant sector.

To ensure up to the mark system of education, we have merged the international programmes in our indigenous curriculum.
