This BS degree in CS will assist you to become a leader in the IT field by equipping you with experience in the advancement of computer systems and networks, as well as their applications.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) is a four year degree program specially designed for learners, who wish to explore exciting yet wonderful world of computers and related technologies. Our carefully designed program will prepare students to get to a level where they find themselves equipped with knowledge and all tools required to start their careers in many relevant fields of the computer industry. This program also helps to build sufficient foundation for those enthusiasts who would like to continue their education further.
Courses being offered during this degree program will cover almost core competencies such as: programming, algorithms, communications and networking, data structures, web development, system analysis and design, artificial intelligence etc.
We believe on making students learn and gain professional work experience, therefore, all students enrolled in this program will be engaged in a software house (on campus) for certain projects, where they will have an opportunity to apply what they learn under supervision of true professionals from the industry.
Eligibility Criteria
FSc/ICS/A Levels with at least 50 % marks
3 Years Diploma (PBTE Recognized) with Mathematics worth 150 and Computer Science 100 marks
Students who did not study mathematics in FSc or A levels, are required to complete 2 courses in Mathematics (non-credit) during the first two semesters.
Credit Hours
At least 130 credit hours are required to complete degree. A summary of the courses is appended here, however, detailed scheme of studies is available from the Registrar Office.
Duration
Minimum Four years or 8 semesters of at least 16 weeks of teaching. Students, who don’t manage to complete their degree within 8 semesters, may be allowed extension for 3 additional semesters upon written request depending upon their academic performance.
Fee Structure
The semester fee will be PKR 85,000 per semester and will stay the same for all those students who don’t not fail any course or skip course/semester during their entire program of study.
The total charges at the time of admission will be as follows: –
Admission Fee PKR 20,000
Security Fee PKR 5,000 (Security fee is non-refundable and will be converted into graduation fee)
Semester Charges PKR 85,000
Total Payable at the time of Admission PKR 110,000

Each and every student will be employed for one day/week from the 2nd semester for the remaining duration of the course i.e. 3 1/2 years. This will help students to have work placement and experience for the next 3/1/2 years and when the course will be finished he/she will be employed already.
Our HR team will explore the students mind set that which sector they are interested to have career in such as IT, business, marketing etc and we will get them job for one day/week on the relevant sector so they can learn accordingly and have career without any problem.
